BETEC AM is a so-called non-(wet) shrinking joint-anchor filler based on Portland cement which can be used, for horizontal and vertical (overhead) applications because of its rigidly mouldable consistence. BETEC AM has a thixotrope consistence which renders the application of forms unnecessary.

Quality control

During manufacturing only high-quality aggregates are used, which meet the strictest requirements. During the production process as well as during the final stages these materials are extensively tested for quality, not only in our own laboratory, but also in independent acknowledged institutes.

Application areas Advantages
  • BETEC AM is used as joint filler for recesses between prefab concrete parts and can be applied manually as well as mechanically.
  • Injecting mortar for concrete -, and tie – anchors and anchors for stone and bricks, specifically for horizontal and vertical overhead applications.
  • Product ready for use, which is easy to process and environment-friendly
  • Chromate reduced
  • Checked volume increase
  • No plastic shrinkage
  • Very high early and final strengths, therefore loading is possible soon after application
  • Resistant to frost and gritting materials, like salt
  • Free of chlorides and other corrosive aggregates
  • Contains no aluminous cement
  • Complies with the requirements drawn up for prestressed concrete
  • Very good adhesion to concrete and steel
  • Highly resistant to oil and grease
  • Can be pumped, vibrated or poured without any danger of de-mixing
