BETEC 1005 is a cement-bound synthetic modified (PCC) repair mortar which has been especially developed for repairs occurring usually under water. BETEC 1005 BETOSEA provides excellent adhesion to existing concrete constructions and does not wash out. |

Preliminary treatment of the ground |

The ground should be free of contaminants such as oil, cement skin, grease, corroded concrete, loose parts etc. Remove water-bloom before application, and apply BETEC 1005 BETOSEA immediately afterwards. It should be taken into account that the material applied must be protected against flow and wave action. |

Note: in order to obtain a polymer modified repair mortar (PCC), polymer dispersion BETEC 410 should be added to the mixing water; the ratio depends on the application: 5 to 3 parts water for 1 part BETEC 410.
